Asset Management
Hoyle Tanner works with our clients to develop a program that will allow clients to understand the condition of their infrastructure and assist with future capital planning.
Smart Planning for the Future
Asset management refers to the methodical process of organizing, operating, maintaining, renewing, and disposing of tangible assets while tracking each asset’s useful life and risk of failure to ensure the greatest return on investment. With many entities facing key challenges including aging infrastructure, limited/retiring staff, increasing budget demands, and changing regulatory requirements (including MS4, NPDES and MAP-21) it is imperative to track assets and understand their lifecycle stage to allocate capital funds or seek additional available grant or loan dollars.
By collaborating with our clients, we help them understand the necessary steps to developing and implementing a successful asset management program. Once a program is developed and staff members are trained on the steps, the collected data within the program provides decision makers with accurate, up-to-date information to analyze system risk, prioritize projects, and make critical infrastructure improvements.
Hoyle Tanner has been assisting clients throughout New England and Florida in the development and implementation of asset management programs for water, wastewater, stormwater, road, and airport infrastructure.
