After months of planning and coordination, construction was completed earlier this year to expand the office footprint, including the removal of an interior wall to create additional workspace. The expansion supports continued growth and enhances the functionality of the Chelmsford, Massachusetts location. Vice President and Regional Business Manager for Massachusetts David Langlais coordinated the effort and worked closely with the team to bring the long-anticipated project to completion.

Workspace Improvements

The additional space helps accommodate evolving operational needs at the Chelmsford office and provides capacity to support future staffing and project requirements. The expanded layout allows for an improved kitchen space that will soon feature a new silent and odorless composting unit, additional office and cubicle workspaces with standing capabilities and electronic standing desks, designated rooms for phone calls and privacy, and a larger equipment room for field supplies. The updated layout also supports more efficient workspace configurations, improved circulation, and added flexibility for team collaboration.

“The standing desks are a game changer,” said Caroline Corwin. “I appreciate the fact that all the new cube spaces have them rather than only the office spaces.” The completed expansion reflects careful planning and coordination, with David Langlais overseeing logistics and scheduling throughout the project.

Thank you to David and the Chelmsford team for seeing this effort through to completion!
