We are ecstatic to announce that our municipal engineering group added three new engineers to our water quality team—these recent graduates will help us shape the future of water quality. Meet our new teammates!

Nicholas Tiner – a graduate from the University of Maine, Nick studied civil and environmental engineering where he focused his master’s on environmental engineering. He co-authored a paper in Science of The Total Environment and gained experience in stormwater engineering as an Environmental Technician with Stillwater Environmental Engineering in Orono, ME. Nicholas’s primary interest is increasing access to innovative wastewater treatment options in rural communities.

Sarah Saeed – Sarah focused on civil engineering during her time at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) before she graduated earlier this year. She has experience in culvert and stream hydrology, stormwater and erosion control, and construction inspection. She has experience using ArcGIS Pro and Primavera P6 to assist in feasibility studies. Being well-rounded, her background also includes transportation engineering and project management.

Lucas Bergeron – Lucas is another graduate from the University of Maine, and his master’s focused on water and environmental aspects of engineering. He has performed construction inspection on buried water infrastructure installation while keeping a spatial database of the location of the infrastructure. This experience gave him a unique perspective on how the design of a project impacts the construction process. His experiences and education align with his interests of best utilizing the environment to support our population while also protecting the environment as best we can.
