This accomplishment is well deserved. For those who have worked with Emily on complex roadway projects across Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire, her success comes as no surprise. She consistently demonstrates strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Since joining the firm in 2024, Emily has expanded her expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including civil engineering, traffic engineering, and construction services. She has contributed as a field and office design technician, inspector, and designer on numerous projects. Her experience includes inventories, data collection and analysis, research, GIS, CADD drafting and modeling, cost estimating, and construction inspection.
Her dedication to mastering key industry standards, including AASHTO, MUTCD, HCM, and ADA standards, has been evident in her work. She has played an important role in refining horizontal and vertical alignments, developing 3D roadway corridor models, preparing client-specific estimates, and supporting plan production across CADD platforms.
Emily has played a key role not only in preparing alignments, profiles, and 3D corridor models, but also developing conceptual designs for roadway widening, turn lanes, and detour routes. Her experience also includes drainage design, utility coordination, and geometric safety considerations.
Beyond design, Emily has provided construction inspection services, supporting field operations and documenting quantities for work such as guardrail installation, pavement milling, drainage rehabilitation, and sidewalk ramp construction. She is proficient in industry tools including AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation ORD, Bluebeam, GIS, and Microsoft Excel, allowing her to contribute effectively across all phases of project delivery.
Emily’s technical abilities, collaborative approach, and dedication to continuous improvement have made her an invaluable member of every project team and a tremendous asset to the Highway Group within the growing Ground Transportation Division.
