RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain – Phase 1
RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain - Phase 1
Hoyle Tanner civil engineering professionals focused on best management practices that included the design of three on-site infiltration chamber systems for stormwater management and treatment. The site design included the relocation of the “Red River” that had previously powered the saw mill in order to allow for the most efficient siting of the new phased resort buildings and was coordinated with the site cleanup efforts. Hoyle Tanner obtained permit approvals from NHDES Wetlands Bureau, Alteration of Terrain, Shoreland Protection, Army Corp. of Engineers, Sewer Discharge and the Town of Lincoln. Due to the placement of asbestos materials in the proposed infiltration system 1, redesign of the system and preparation of revised construction documents were required. RiverWalk Phase 1 has created over 70 permanent jobs to date and promises to continue to be an enormous economic boost to New Hampshire’s North Country, where tourism is a major industry. RiverWalk Resort is located right in the heart of downtown Lincoln, New Hampshire, that will reap the socio-economic benefits of this grand resort. The accessibility to and from the resort couldn’t be more ideal for the local community or for those that venture from long distances alike.
