Meet our Newest Surveyor!

David Jeffery joins as the Survey Crew Chief. David graduated with honors from UMass Boston School for the Environment, where he conducted independent research on urban water quality, focusing on spatial data visualization and interpretation using advanced GIS methods. He also has a diverse work history, has cultivated a reputation for being responsible and dedicated to quality, and is quick to learn new techniques and technologies. For the last six years, however, David has made surveying his passion. Whether he is performing construction layout or performing boundary surveys, David is excited to be in the field. He is also a recently-certified Certified Wetland Scientist (CWS), adding to our growing team of incredible environmental professionals.

Welcome our Engineers!

Maybe you saw our announcement in August that Dan Taylor, PE has joined our ranks as a Senior Bridge Engineer! Dan brings 18 years of bridge design experience to our Ground Transportation Division out of our Portsmouth, New Hampshire location. Throughout his career, Dan has contributed to the design of numerous bridges through analysis, inspection, and load rating projects for NHDOTMaineDOT, and other agencies throughout New England and across the country.

Eric Doe, PE joined our Municipal Engineering Division in July as a Senior Environmental Engineer for wastewater collection and conveyance! Eric’s eye for detail and thorough understanding of engineering principles have made him an immediate asset in multiple disciplines. He’s also worked on stream rehabilitation projects, landfill gas installation projects, and Industrial Pretreatment Programs. Eric brings not only technical expertise to Hoyle Tanner, but also thoughtful leadership.

Kate Hunter, EIT joins our team as an entry-level Environmental Engineer in our Burlington, Vermont office. Prior to joining our team, she worked as a planning intern at the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission, where she performed inventories of local municipalities’ transportation infrastructure and developed GIS skills. She also has experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, and HydroCAD. Kate prioritizes utilizing new technology and interdisciplinary thinking to develop sustainable solutions to the environmental crises we face today.

Sarah Foy, EIT recently received her Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Vermont. She interned with us in summer 2023 and again starting in January 2024. We’re excited to have her start full time in our Municipal Engineering Division, where she’ll work on stormwater and wastewater treatment projects as an environmental engineer.

Rebekah Gebru studied Civil Engineering at University of Massachusetts – Lowell and interned with us in our Aviation Division in 2022. Now that she’s with us full-time, she’ll learn from our airport design experts and bring her fresh perspectives to our designs.

Angela Roberge is our lively Talent Acquisition Specialist. She has a strong 15-year history working in recruiting and successfully building relationships between teams and prospective employees. We welcome her cheerful demeanor and are excited for all the perspective she brings to the team!

Bailey Jackson is our newest Human Resources Coordinator. Having studied psychology at Keene State University and spending two years in the workforce already, we are excited for her unique perspectives and applications of psychology in the growing Human Resources field!

Jennifer Clark assists our Concord office survey team as an Administrative Assistant. Being an accomplished professional in both administrative and marketing aspects of the AEC industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
