Galvion Manufacturing Building
Project Summary
Hoyle Tanner was retained by Summit Land Development LLC to provide civil/site design services for Galvion’s (formerly Revision Military) new Advanced Warfighter Equipment Development Center at the Pease International Tradeport. The center will feature a warfighter lab, armor prototyping and a development facility that is expected to create upwards of 75 new jobs for the Seacoast. The first phase of the building is 41,800 square feet with an additional 55,900 square feet planned for phase two.
The 8.67-acre site is a redevelopment of former Air Force housing from when Pease was an active military base. The new site layout includes a sweeping tree lined access road, 190 parking spaces, two loading docks, sidewalks, drainage infrastructure, supporting utilities, landscaping and lighting. As part of the project, adjacent wetland buffers will be enhanced to their natural state through the removal of existing drainage outfalls, removal of invasive species, no-mow restrictions, and wetland specific plantings.
In partnership with Sullivan Construction, LLC, this project won an award in the ABC Excellence in Construction Awards.
