Project Summary

Hoyle Tanner completed the analysis and Load and Resistance Factor Rating (LRFR) load rating of 10 bridges for Maine Department of Transportation. Structure types included single and multi-span steel girder bridges, concrete slab bridges including a horizontally curved two-span structure, and a concrete encased, high skew steel stringer bridge. One of the bridges required a site visit to obtain measurements and assess condition of the primary elements. A detailed load rating report was prepared for all bridges and the assignment was completed under budget and on schedule.
