Hoyle Tanner is proud to announce the addition of Matthew Cardillo to our Aviation Division as an Assistant Project Manager!

For the last decade, Matt worked at the Plymouth (MA) Municipal Airport, serving as the Airport Manager for the last three years. In this role, he oversaw all aspects of the airport’s operations, including maintenance, budgeting, capital planning, personnel management, and regulatory compliance. Understanding the critical role general aviation facilities play in the air transportation network, Matt conducted daily airfield inspections, managed runway and taxiway activity, and coordinated winter operations to maintain smooth and reliable airfield conditions. As the Airport Manager, he worked closely with the Town officials, the Plymouth Airport Commission, pilots, and tenants, serving as a key liaison across the airport community.

Throughout his career, Matt has secured multiple credentials that underscore his industry knowledge and expertise, including a Private Pilot License, a Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, and a MassDOT Aeronautics Airport Manager License. His leadership is demonstrated through his involvement with the Massachusetts Airport Management Association, having previously served as the organization’s President and currently serving as the Treasurer.

“We are extremely happy to have Matt on our team. His firsthand municipal aviation experience is both broad and detailed in the services that our clients enjoy and require. Matt will help airports be more sustainable and economically successful, and his role as Assistant Project Manager will ensure he is on the leading edge of all our projects” – Robert Furey, Division Manager – Aviation Services

We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he will make. Please join us in welcoming Matt to the team!
