In addition to expanding our space, we are also expanding our staff to meet Maine’s long range transportation and municipal infrastructure improvement needs. With this goal serving as a point of primary focus, we are pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew E. Sturgeon, PLS, who will serve as Director of our Maine Operations. Andrew’s responsibilities will include business development, project oversight and resource management for our Brunswick office.
With over 34 years of experience in the AEC industry, Andrew’s expertise will be focused on business and relationship management, project permitting and design, and project management. Throughout the last twenty years, Andrew’s professional oversight responsibilities have included those of Chief Operating Officer and President & CEO. Within these critical areas of the business, Andrew lead company-wide strategic planning initiatives, routinely managed day-to-day engineering operations and was intimately involved in business development and client relations.
Dedicated to his profession, Andrew believes in the importance of giving back to the industry. He served as President of the Maine Society of Land Surveyors, Chairman of the Bangor Water District. He remains very committed to the industry and continues to serve on various local and national boards including the National Society of Professional Surveyors as Education Committee Chairman and a Board Member of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce.
With this strategic office move and addition of Andrew, we anticipate being even more responsive for our current clients and look forward to responding to growing opportunities in communities throughout the great State of Maine.
