As we look back fondly on 2023, we see our 50th anniversary in the rearview mirror alongside staff promotions and recognitions, and award-winning projects. We are so excited about the team we’ve built and the services we provide, and we’re even happier to share this with our newest team members! Because as much as 2023 provided celebration, it also provided opportunity.

FEBRUARY

Briana brings a diverse background in roadway, bicycle & pedestrian, and bridge projects.

MAY

With her nine years of experience, she got straight to work on solar projects in the Virgin Islands and New Hampshire. On top of that, her passion for sustainability has landed her in our RISER group, focused on environmentally-conscious initiatives.

Michael’s interning career led him to land development and construction, but he graduated from the University of Maine – Orono understanding his true passion was in bridge engineering. He is interested in enhancing water crossing infrastructure to ensure heightened human safety, while minimizing any adverse effects on the surrounding ecosystem.

 

 

JUNE

While she waits to graduate university in 2024, she’s spending time with us developing her love of environmental engineering under our water quality experts.

In her role as a senior structural engineer, she mentors junior staff on the development and design of transportation infrastructure projects and is an asset to our Ground Transportation Division.

He specializes in project management and has a passion for civil engineering projects found at the intersection of infrastructure and public service.

Holly prioritizes the community’s safety and is interested in increasing the efficiency of various construction projects to help reduce the disruption that may be caused to surrounding communities. She’s been a valuable asset out on construction sites.

AUGUST

Ian has been a part of roadway design and construction in Maine for several years and is applying the knowledge he gained as a roadway inspector to his perspective as an engineer.

 

 

SEPTEMBER

He began his career with us after graduating from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2023, and immediately began working with airports across the state. We’re excited to have him on board!

 

 

Jenna Keenan corporate headshotJenna Keenan joined our Portsmouth, New Hampshire office as a part-time administrative assistant. Her positive attitude and willingness to help has lessened the load on our project assistants and created new opportunities.

When her family moved back to New Hampshire, she reached out to see if her skills as a civil engineer could still be useful on our team. With a prior four years with us and 13 total years of experience, having Bridget back has been a seamless transition and our group is grateful!

 

 

OCTOBER

Lori Lehnen temporary photo Lori Lehnen, PE has 32 years of environmental engineering experience. Our paths crossed on a wastewater treatment facility project in New Hampshire where Lori was our subconsultant, and we started working with Lori more often – until she wanted to join our team in a more official way. Lori brings three decades of potable water and wastewater engineering experience, catering to municipal and industrial clients across the United States, to the team.

 

 

NOVEMBER

Thomas Bryce temporary corporate headshot with LinkedIn logo in upper cornerLast but certainly not least, we welcomed Thomas Bryce, CPESC, CESSWI in November. In our Burlington office, he operates as an environmental engineer and water resources specialist. His key focus has been on long-term water quality monitoring, hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, modeling streams and culverts, as well as designing stormwater systems. We’re thrilled that he’s joined our team!
