Help us extend a warm welcome to Steve Langevin, PE, who joins us a Senior Structural Engineer (and project manager) in our Ground Transportation Division!
Steve is a highly skilled engineer with over two decades of experience in structural design and oversight and over 32 years of experience in the civil engineering field. He has worked on a variety of Department of Transportation (DOT) projects, including several signature pedestrian rail trail bridges in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as structural design for highway projects. He also excels in bridge inspections and ratings, construction inspections, and repair assessments, providing valuable recommendations and detailed reports for DOTs and municipalities.
His work helps clients achieve reliable and innovative engineering solutions tailored to their specific needs.
“I am very happy to be at Hoyle Tanner and grateful for this opportunity,” Steve said about his new role. “There were a couple of main considerations that drew me here. One was that I already knew several people at Hoyle Tanner who I not only consider good engineers but also good friends. It’s the people that make the work culture and a good culture can have such a positive impact on everyone navigating through their career.
My favorite part of my job has always been mentoring younger engineers, so I look forward to contributing to the culture here by supporting the development of others all while completing interesting projects. The other is that I have been in this industry for quite a while and noticed that Hoyle Tanner is associated with having a good reputation among clients and other consultants. So, I am also looking forward to contributing to that reputation.”
Steve brings his DOT experience to our team and will be working out of our growing Portsmouth office! He will mentor junior team members and be an asset as he works on bridge projects throughout New England.
We are lucky to have Steve join us and are excited for all the expertise and perspective he brings to our growing team!
