We’re happy to announce that Senior Structural Engineer Daniel Taylor, PE has joined the Ground Transportation Division! Dan brings 18 years of bridge design experience to the GTD team in our Portsmouth location.

Throughout his career, Dan has contributed to the design of numerous bridge design, analysis, inspection, and load rating projects for NHDOT, MaineDOT, and other agencies throughout New England and across the country.

Dan has overseen significant projects such as the East Thetford Road historic truss rehabilitation in Lyme, the Huse Road Bridge deck replacement in Manchester, the Thompsons Bridge replacement in Southport, and the Armstrong Road Bridge replacement in Waterville. His ability to manage intricate projects while ensuring high-quality outcomes is a testament to his skills and dedication.

In addition to his project management roles, Dan has served as the technical lead and assistant project manager for various MaineDOT projects including the Bridge Street Bridge replacement in Westbrook, the Mathew J. Lanigan Bridge superstructure replacement in Kennebunkport, and the Bridge Street Bridge Replacement in Gardiner. His hands-on experience and technical proficiency have been crucial in the successful completion of these endeavors.

Dan has played a pivotal role in training and mentoring staff on various bridge design topics and MicroStation plan production. His leadership has been instrumental in the successful delivery of numerous complex projects in his former roles.
