Hoyle, Tanner is pleased to announce Todd Sumner, PE has joined our team of structural engineers as a Senior Project Manager in our Burlington, Vermont office! Todd brings over 30 years of state agency experience with a focus on bridge design. For the last 10 years, he has worked on unique, multi-million-dollar bridges and managed transportation projects with significant state agency knowledge, as well as significant alternative delivery transportation projects. Todd’s additional experience includes managing two larger Municipal Assistance (MA) projects.
Todd joins our growing ground transportation team in Burlington while expanding the alternative delivery services we provide for our clients. His focus will be on project delivery for state and municipal clients throughout northern New England and northern New York.
Todd earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1989 before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1994, both from the University of Vermont. He maintains a professional engineer license in Vermont and remains active in the engineering community.
Todd and his family live in Essex, Vermont with their Maine Coon cat, Twinkie. Todd likes to spend his free time road cycling around Vermont with friends/neighbors and riding for charitable causes.
