Hoyle, Tanner’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President Robert Furey, PE was elected as Chairman of the Board. After serving 5 years in the United States Air Force, Bob joined Hoyle, Tanner in 1999 as an airport engineer. Over the last 20 years he has continuously increased his responsibilities with the firm, leading him to his current position as the Director of our Northeast Aviation Services Group. Bob has been responsible for overseeing many of our firm’s major airport improvement projects, managing the design, innovation, and implementation of numerous projects throughout his career; in each one demonstrating his commitment to staying customer-focused and guiding our team to become better engineers. His experience is a pivotal influence in his plans as Chairman to continue our firm’s progression, and finding innovative, cost effective solutions that add value to the client and community.

Bob adds, “One of my top priorities is to focus the firm’s attention on our Strategic Plan Implementation centering our oversight on growth and succession planning. As a Board we are charged with putting leadership in place for future success and protecting shareholder investment. We do this through open and transparent conversation with our employees who share a common vision to 1) Attract and Retain Talent, 2) Expand in High Growth Areas, 3) Maintain Visibility and Professionalism within our Industry, and 4) Improve our Economic Resiliency.  I could not be more honored to have been elected to this position and look forward to the future we are all charting together.”
