Join us in congratulating Rebekah Gebru and Sarah Foy, who have returned to our team as full-time employees after completing their internships with us. They both impressed us with their skills and enthusiasm as interns, and we’re thrilled to have them on board!

Rebekah Gebru studied Civil Engineering at University of Massachusetts – Lowell and interned with us in our Aviation Division in 2022. Now that she’s with us full time, she’ll learn from our airport design experts and bring her fresh perspectives to our designs.

Sarah Foy recently received her Environmental Engineering degree from University of Vermont. She interned with us in summer 2023 and again starting in January 2024. We’re excited to have her start full time in our Municipal Engineering Division, where she’ll work on stormwater and wastewater treatment projects as an environmental engineer.

We take great pride in our internship program at Hoyle Tanner – hoping to provide a nurturing, welcoming environment to young professionals as they explore all of the career possibilities before them. Katie Welch shared her story a few years ago about what it was like for her to go through the program and transition to a full-time employee, along with Stephanie Bishop who interned with us when she was still in high school! Aidan Short shared his experience of interning with us while getting his master’s degree.

Please join us in welcoming Rebekah and Sarah back, and celebrating everyone who takes the chance on an internship program!
