We are thrilled to announce that Eric Doe, PE has joined us as a Senior Environmental Engineer for wastewater collection and conveyance! Eric will fulfill the role of project manager leading teams for planning, modeling and design of wastewater collection and conveyance systems, combined sewer overflow (CSO) programs, and infiltration/inflow (I/I) reduction programs.
Eric brings 13 years of dedicated design and field experience to our team. Some of his design projects include:
- Design engineer for 5.5 miles of new and replacement gravity sewers, low pressure sewers, pump stations, and force mains along Route 1 in Massachusetts.
- Lead engineer and primary inspector for 3.5 miles of sewer replacement, 1.2 miles of sewer services, 1.1 miles of force main, three pump stations with pavement restoration on state and local roads.
- Interceptor capacity upgrade using hydraulic modeling to optimize replacement of 1500 linear feet of 18” diameter V.C. pipe with 21” diameter PVC to increase peak flow capacity from 3.6 MGD to 5.0 MGD.
- Developed a city-wide sewer system master plan following smoke testing 250,000 linear feet of gravity sewer, inspecting 830 sewer manholes, and performing 50 dye tests.
- Multiple pump station upgrades for municipal, commercial, and residential facilities.
His rehabilitation projects include sewer collection system improvements, pump station and force main upgrades, and infiltration/inflow reduction projects. Eric’s expertise is in wastewater collection and conveyance with an eye for detail and thorough understanding of engineering principles have made him an asset in multiple disciplines. He’s also worked on stream rehabilitation projects, landfill gas installation, and Industrial Pretreatment Programs.
Eric brings not only technical expertise to Hoyle Tanner, but also thoughtful leadership. We look forward to the knowledge and insight he will share. Please join us in welcoming our newest team member!
