We would like to take a moment to congratulate Jean Mongillo, PE on being chosen as an Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) Ambassador for the New England Region! ACRP is “an industry-driven, applied research program that develops practical solutions to problems faced by airport operators.” Funding more than 20 projects a year, ACRP focuses on issues that other federal research programs do not address. The ACRP is managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and sponsored by the FAA.
As an Ambassador, Jean will serve as a liaison between ACRP, the research community and airport operators in the region while encouraging implementation of program’s research results. Results she is implementing with Hoyle, Tanner’s aviation clients to identify solutions to infrastructure improvement needs at their individual facilities.
Jean serves as a senior airport engineer at Hoyle, Tanner, where she works closely with our aviation clients to identify infrastructure improvement needs at their individual facility and develop a plan of action to address these needs. As a senior project engineer, she has extensive background in the design, environmental permitting and construction of a variety of airport projects including the evaluation of airspace protection surfaces, airfield pavement design, drainage and lighting systems design, as well as the acquisition of applicable federal and state environmental permits.
