Movers, Shakers & Innovators: Congratulations to our 2025 Q3 Winners!
Our firm launched the Movers, Shakers & Innovators Program to give formal recognition to our hardworking and dedicated employees. Movers and Shakers is a peer-nominated, quarterly award for team members who go above and beyond their normal daily and project activities. During each quarter, our team is encouraged to nominate an individual whom they recognize as being an asset in more ways than one. Here is what their nominators said about the Q4 winners:
Iryna Afong of our Southeast Aviation Division in Oviedo, FL
From the nominator – In a recent design review meeting with one of our clients, Iryna was remarkable in her running of the meeting and delivery of our proposed solutions. She was well prepared, commanded the respect of the room, had full control of the meeting, listened, and offered solutions to all of the questions posed by our client. It was outstanding to witness her bring such immense value to our client. Iryna is the ideal team player and always puts the best interest of Hoyle Tanner and our clients first and foremost in everything she does. Her easy-going nature makes her a favorite of all our clients. I can always expect the question “Where is Iryna?” whenever I show up at a meeting without her. Our clients value her as a trusted advisor but more importantly genuinely enjoy her company.
Steve Mayo of our Corporate Administration in Manchester, NH
From the nominator – Most of the emails and calls Steve Mayo receives are urgent or problematic, yet he handles them with patience and consistency. He is the one who keeps everything running in the background and I don’t always realize how much that takes until something goes wrong. I appreciate how dependable he is and how much effort he puts into making sure we can all do our jobs without major interruptions. What a true asset!
Chris Morrison of our Corporate Administration in Manchester, NH
From the nominator – I wanted to say a huge thank you to Chris for helping fix my VPN connection on Friday evening. I was trying to update my computer outside of company time, so I wasn’t interrupting my work but then as things do with installs ran into issues and my VPN stopped working. I told Chris and he was able to jump on and get me back up and running. I didn’t expect after hours help but Chris being able to help at the time as I have some unconventional hours is so appreciated.
Suzy Sheppard of our Northeast Aviation Division in Manchester, NH
From the nominator – Suzy is one of the most hardworking engineers I know! She manages and works on projects, meets with clients, mentors our younger staff, and is always willing to help if someone reaches out even with the demands and deadlines that consume her schedule. I’m sure there is more that she does that I’m missing, and I honestly don’t know how she does it all. She is basically “Wonder Woman” and we are so lucky to have her. She has proven time and time again over the years her dedication to the profession and the company. That is why it is my honor to nominate her for this well-deserved recognition!
Congratulations again to our Movers and Shakers this quarter! We appreciate you!
