We are pleased to welcome Joshua Sklarsky as Hoyle Tanner’s first Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With more than 15 years of experience, Joshua is a strategic technology leader with a strong track record of leading IT and data initiatives through periods of growth and change. He is known for translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
Most recently, Joshua served as a fractional CTO/CIO and Strategic Advisor, supporting various organizations in the building and climate technology space with hands-on technology strategy and guidance. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at New Ecology, Inc., a nonprofit focused on energy efficiency, where he held a series of technology leadership roles, ultimately serving as Chief Technology Officer. In that role, he led IT strategy and operations, oversaw major system upgrades, and supported the development of data-driven tools to improve energy performance and sustainability. His work focused on building secure, scalable systems while helping organizations adapt to growth, evolving risks, and emerging technologies.
