Nils Gonzalez | Principal Airport Engineer

Nils Gonzalez Headshot With 35 years (17 at Hoyle Tanner) leading airport design and infrastructure upgrades, Nils is an expert in airport related projects both inside and outside the fence line. He guides projects throughout New England and Florida and is known for his attention to detail and deep understanding of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements related to funding, engineering, operations, and construction.

Nils leads all ranges of aviation projects from obstruction removal or fencing projects to multimillion dollar terminal, runway, taxiway, and apron projects. His skills contribute significantly to our integrated approach to airport infrastructure improvement projects. Nils represents the best of aviation engineering at Hoyle Tanner by participating in professional associations such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), New Hampshire, Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE).

Bill Davidson | Principal Civil Engineer

With 33 years of experience (17 at Hoyle Tanner), Bill is our technical lead for land development and municipal civil infrastructure projects. His pragmatic approach to each project provides our clients with grounded, practical solutions they know they can count on to save time and money.

Bill’s project portfolio includes public works and academic facilities, private residential and commercial development, land-use consultation, utility and roadway improvements, and a variety of other types of projects our clients call upon us for. With his approachable demeanor and natural ability to connect with others, he thrives as a hands-on mentor for both project managers and our up-and-coming engineers. Bill has recently stepped up to be a primary resource for construction administration and engineering for a wide variety of infrastructure improvement projects. He has particularly strong expertise in construction engineering related to civil infrastructure and land development projects and advises many throughout the firm in this area.

Todd Clark | Principal Transportation Engineer

Todd Clark Headshot Todd has 34 years of experience in the ground transportation profession (including 23 at Hoyle Tanner). Prior to joining our team, Todd held important positions at the New Hampshire Department of Transportation and for a large local roadway and bridge contractor. These roles, combined with his extensive consulting engineering experience, make him an invaluable technical leader, offering strategic guidance and expertise to our ground transportation team.

His roles within the company include overseeing roadway, highway, and traffic project delivery, design practices, innovation, quality control and assurance, and mentoring. Todd has also been active in professional societies, such as the Boston Society of Civil Engineers Section (BSCES) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).

Timothy Bernier | Principal Surveyor

Tim Bernier Headshot Tim has 37 years of experience as a surveyor and former business owner. He is a licensed Land Surveyor and Certified Wetland Scientist in New Hampshire and is a Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts. He is known for his dedication to his clients and his commitment to land-use consultation excellence. Over the span of his career, he has managed hundreds of projects throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. He effectively manages our surveying team in our Concord office by scheduling, mentoring, and delivering to our clients.
