We’re proud to announce that Marisa DiBiaso, PE has been elected to the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Good Roads Association (NHGRA) for a three year term. Marisa was sworn in at the association’s annual meeting on April 4th.

Marisa, known for her hands-on approach as a senior project manager, values teamwork and communication with colleagues and clients. Her appointment to the New Hampshire Good Roads Board of Directors further exemplifies her commitment to enhancing infrastructure across the state. Through this role, Marisa will forge stronger relationships with contractors statewide, enabling her to better serve her clients by ensuring seamless project execution and delivery.

Her attention to detail and resourcefulness for solving engineering challenges prompted her to get her master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, and her passion for history brought her to Plymouth State University for a graduate certificate in historic preservation. With a background focused heavily on design of diverse projects ranging from large infrastructure projects to recreational facilities, state roadways, municipal downtown streetscapes, and monuments, Marisa is an excellent resource to her colleagues.

Previously, Marisa served as Vice President and Clerk on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Civil Engineers, New Hampshire Section (ASCE-NH). She is currently the Chair of the ASCE-NH History and Heritage Committee. In addition to ASCE-NH, Marisa has also volunteered as a sponsor to UNH Civil Engineering senior capstone project teams.

While on the board, Marisa hopes to build connections between the engineering community and the transportation construction and maintenance industry by promoting events and membership.

NHGRA members come from every part of New Hampshire, and the association regularly hosts events like the annual golf tournament and the Equipment Showcase Open. These events are integral to the association, as they help fundraise for the organization and their scholarship program but also offers industry professionals a chance to share ideas and strategies.

Since 1904, NHGRA’s mission has been to encourage the development of a safe, efficient and environmentally-sound highway transportation system in New Hampshire. The association works through its members and other organizations to achieve this goal.

Please join us in congratulating Marisa on this achievement!
