Meet Jonathan Crowdes (LLS, CPESC, CESSWI) – Land Surveyor & Soccer Junkie
Whatβs your favorite time of year to work at Hoyle Tanner & why?
Mud season, but Iβve only worked here since March, so that may change.
Whatβs the best thing thatβs happened to you recently (this week, this month, this year)?
I started playing ice hockey again after a 41-year hiatus. Turns out Iβm not as good as I remember myself being.
How many different states have you lived in?
New Hampshire, Vermont and Arizona. All good places to live, in their own ways.
What kind of pet do you have & how did you choose to name it?
2 dogs, 2 cats. We let our daughter, 3-years-old at the time, name the first oneβ¦ a kitten who was named βCupcake,” then we found out heβs a boy. The parents consulted on the naming of the other 3.
What is a fun or interesting fact about your hometown?
Hopkinton, NH – former State Capitol and bustling train stop between Boston & Montreal.
What are three things still left on your bucket list.
Hawaii, that will make all 50 states. Drive a race car, on a racetrack. Back country ski trip out west.
Name three items youβd take with you to a desert island.
A machete. A flint fire starter. Duct tape. (Probably only really need the duct tape though).
What characteristic do you admire most in others?
Sincerity.
How old is the oldest item in your closet?
I had some dress shirts that were circa 2000 but my wife wouldnβt let me wear them out in public, so those finally went away (I donβt dress up much). I still have several T-shirts easily over 25-years-old hidden away.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A professional hockey playerβ¦TBD.
Whatβs your pump-up playlist or song lately?
Whisper to a Scream, by Icicle Works.
