Hoyle Tanner is announcing the retirement of Fran Baldowski, NP a dedicated and invaluable member of our aviation division, effective late June. Fran has been an integral part of our team for 27 years, serving as the division’s grant administrator and senior project assistant.

Fran’s Affinity for Numbers & Timeliness

Throughout her tenure, Fran has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing grants, administering contracts, and ensuring timely reimbursements for our clients. Her expertise in handling federal reimbursement requests through the USDOT Delphi eInvoicing system has been crucial in maintaining the financial health of numerous projects. Fran’s meticulous attention to detail and love for numbers have made her a cornerstone in tracking project financials and ensuring seamless financial closeouts.

Fran’s commitment to customer service has been exemplary. She has consistently provided our clients with friendly and efficient support, whether through phone calls or emails, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and assistance for payments, audits, and project closeouts. Her ability to keep projects on schedule and navigate the ever-changing requirements of FAA has been a testament to her dedication and expertise.

Fran’s Contribution to Office Culture

Beyond her professional achievements, Fran has significantly contributed to the office culture and team dynamics. Her passion for volunteerism is evident through her involvement with the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire, where she has been a cornerstone for over 20 years, helping with bookkeeping, membership tracking, and serving as a volunteer. Fran’s dedication to various nonprofit organizations reflects her generous spirit and commitment to making a positive impact. She has also been a champion of our in-house CPR Training sessions and has been an avid member of our Safety Committee, educating our team members on safe practices in the office and on-site.

“The past 27 ½ years have been a fun ride, but I’m really looking forward to retirement,” Fran said about her upcoming departure. “I’ll continue my volunteer work at the Aviation Museum of NH and also my volunteer ushering at the Palace Theater. Both of these organizations are right here in Manchester, the home of Hoyle Tanner’s corporate office. I’ll miss the client contact, which has always been my favorite part of my job, and I’ll miss my colleagues here, but I’m ready to fly off into the sunset, as they say.”

Introducing a Smooth Transition

As we bid farewell to Fran, we are pleased to introduce Kate Lessard, who will be taking over Fran’s responsibilities, as well as bringing her unique perspective to incorporate others. Kate brings a wealth of experience in the field of qualitative research, higher education, and health care. Her fresh viewpoints in the role will ensure a seamless transition for our clients, while also offering new ideas for office management and team organizational skills. With over two months of overlap, Kate and Fran will work closely to maintain the high standards of service and support that our clients have come to expect.

Fran’s retirement marks the end of an era at Hoyle Tanner, but her legacy will continue to inspire us. We invite our clients and colleagues to join us in wishing Fran a happy and fulfilling retirement. Her contributions to the company and the community have left an indelible mark, and we are grateful for her years of service.
