Kirstin DiPietro Worden, PE

Senior Project Engineer to Senior Technical Engineer

Kirstin has been with Hoyle Tanner as an environmental engineer in Vermont since the mid-1990s. She has many years of experience in the planning, design, bidding, and construction phases of various water, wastewater, and stormwater treatment projects. She has been instrumental in working under the requirements of aggressive completion schedules for final design, bidding, and construction to deliver a project on time and within budget. Kirstin is part of the Green Mountain Water Environment Association (GMWEA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), and New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA).

 

Janet Bishop

Administrative Assistant to Project Assistant

Since 2006, Janet has worked in our Burlington office supporting the functions of projects. She helps move projects along by formatting specifications, preparing bid documents, plan lists and DBE coordination. Janet’s expertise also includes creating contracts and agreements and coordinating all aspects of construction administration.

 

Joseph Ripley, PE

Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer

Joe has been with our Bridge Group in Manchester since June 2011. Starting as a structural bridge engineer, he has been responsible for designing projects and preparing contract documents for New England departments of transportation and municipalities. Joe is a member of Structural Engineers of New Hampshire (SENH) and part of the emerging leaders committee for ACEC-NH. He also has special expertise in inspecting bridges and is an NBIS-certified bridge inspector and a Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) Level 1 certified climbing inspector.

 

Jacob Sparkowich, PE

Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer

Jake joined our Transportation Group in Manchester in October 2013 with a demonstrated history of working in the civil engineering industry. His ability to meet civil/site, roadway, and resident engineering challenges has enabled our team to meet our client’s project goals and visions. Jake has served as the Treasurer and Secretary for the New Hampshire chapter of the Institute of Traffic Engineers (NHITE).

 

Nicole Crawford, PE, ENV SP

Airport Engineer to Senior Project Engineer

Nicole has been in our Manchester office specializing in airport engineering since October 2014. Nicole’s experience has focused on transportation engineering, including both roadway and aviation design. Nicole has helped Hoyle Tanner design airport improvement projects, prepare engineers’ construction cost estimates, and evaluate existing pavement conditions. She is a member of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Massachusetts Airport Management Association (MAMA), and Airport Consultants Council (ACC). In addition, Nicole is an ISI Envision™ Sustainability Professional.

 

Nicole Centerbar, EIT

Transportation Engineer to Staff Engineer

After graduating from the University of Vermont in May 2018, Nicole joined our transportation services group where she has become an important part of our team. Nicole implements design related to roadway design, guardrail, pavement, bicycle/pedestrian facilities and drainage, as well as performing cost estimates. She is adept in GPS data collection, as well as MicroStation and Inroads, AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS. Her background also includes asset management practices.

 

Jennifer Auster, PE

Senior Environmental Engineer to Senior Project Manager

Jennie brought her extensive experience in wastewater and water engineering skills to our Vermont environmental team in July 2019. In addition to senior-level project management at Hoyle Tanner, she provides technical engineering and builds relationships with clients – allowing for successful communication and prosperous project outcomes. Jennie is part of many organizations in the water industry, including Board of Directors for Green Mountain Water Environment Association (GMWEA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), and New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA).
