Project Summary

Hoyle Tanner was retained by Mainly Littleton Pizza, LLC to design and permit a pad site for multiple retail buildings on Meadow Street in Littleton, New Hampshire. The property was unique in configuration due to Dell’s Brook bisecting the site. The design included the relocation of the existing brook to create a developable pad for building construction and improvements.  

The relocation and restoration of Dells Brook was obtained through the extensive use of coir logs, step vanes and heavily placed vegetative plantings. The proposed design shifted the brook alignment away from Meadow Street and provided a series of natural bends to enhance and restore the stream and associated wildlife.  

The design included permitting from the Littleton Planning Board, NHDOT District 1 driveway application, NHDES Standard Dredge and Fill Application and Mitigation, Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA Analysis. The utility site improvements also included underground electric, drainage, underground stormwater chambers, sewer, and water lines.
