Charitable Giving
Hoyle Tanner is passionate about finding new opportunities that benefit the communities in which we serve.
Giving back is woven into the threads of who we are. We have a passionate and generous team that is dedicated to serving the communities where we live and work by donating their time, money, and resources to several organizations.
Using our company’s Volunteer Time Off program, members of our team have volunteered on a variety of projects through the United Way’s Day of Caring for several non-profits which have included Girls Inc., Families in Transition, Girls at Work, SEE Science Center, and the Friends of the Manchester Animal Shelter.
To help the ongoing fight against hunger, many of our employees participate in canned food drives hosted by local food banks, such as the annual “Mac Off” and the “Canstruction” competition. Numerous times we have hosted Penny Wars to raise monetary and non-perishable food donations to help combat hunger in our communities. In addition to these competitions, members of our team have also participated in food drives, packaging and preparing deliveries for holiday meals and groceries for families in need.
Each year, many Hoyle Tanner team members come together to join the fight against cancer. Team members participate in the largest road race in New Hampshire, the Cigna/Elliot 5K, which runs through the heart of downtown Manchester, the home of our corporate headquarters.
Our company is always looking for new opportunities to reach the community, however we take pride in the organizations we continue to give to year after year. Perhaps our oldest community action project is Hoyle Tanner’s involvement in Operation Santa Claus, where we have sponsored children in need during the holiday season for over two decades.
Our community involvement reinforces our strong family culture at Hoyle Tanner and the community service projects we participate in bring us closer together as a company. As an organization, we are always looking for ways to better ourselves by bettering society around us.
